Sprinkler blowouts in Meridian on Wednesday didn't go smooth at all. I wasted a lot of time going to properties that had locked gates, valve boxes hidden or buried, etc. I apologize to those I didn't get to that were ready. I will be doing sprinkler blowouts again in Meridian on Friday, October 29, and Monday November 1-2. Please see my sprinkler blowout page for more dates.
I have closed Middleton, Melba, Caldwell, Nampa, Hidden Springs, Star, and Kuna to new sprinkler blowouts requests, but will get to the ones currently on my list. I will leave Meridian, Eagle, and Boise open for a few more weeks. I am trying to reach my goal of 300 blowouts this year surpassing last years sprinkler blowouts of 291.
As it states in the title, I will be doing sprinkler blowouts in Nampa and Star on Thursday. I will start in Star and then go to Nampa. I have several to do in Nampa, so if I don't make it to you I will get you on my next round. I appreciate your patience.
Although Wednesday was not as productive as I would like in Meridian, I had some interesting moments. I removed a cat from a roof for the daughter of one of my long-time customers, and received a very interesting voice mail. As I said on my website, I do not answer my phone while doing sprinkler blowouts because I just don't have the time, but I will check messages in between blowouts. I received a message yesterday from someone saying they were referred to me, (I get that all the time for sprinkler blowouts), and that their hair dresser had moved, (their hair dresser does their sprinkler blowouts?) and I call her back with a time I could go over and cut her hair. Okay, that was funny. I about fell out of my truck laughing at that one. I am one of the most called on home repair guys in the valley, but didn't know I was a hair dresser as well…..
That made my day of cold, wet, sprinkler blowouts a little brighter.
