Sprinkler Blowouts Will Resume Again – Hopefully

It appears this inversion we are having is on it's way out, so sprinkler blowouts are going to resume again, hopefully.  What I mean is we are going to try, and hopefully it has warmed up enough to allow us to do so.

Friday, November 20, we will go back into the 83709 where we have intended to go all along.  If the systems cooperate, it will probably still take us two days to finish sprinkler blowouts in the area before moving on.  Valve boxes will still most likely be under snow, and frozen shut, so we ask for use of the sprinkler timer to speed things up and increase our chance of success.  As stated in our previous post, If we do not have timer access we will move on to the next house on our route.  Unfortunately it has to be this way to so we do not waste time with trying to open valve boxes covered in snow.  We still have around 150 sprinkler blowouts to complete, and with the weather the way it is, we most likely will not get more than 10 finished in a days time.

Once the 83709 sprinkler blowouts are complete, we want to get to the areas with the highest concentration of sprinkler systems on city water first, since they are the ones most effected by the cold temperatures.  If Friday is successful, we will continue sprinkler blowouts every day, except Thanksgiving, that the temperatures allow until all are complete.  As usual, we will post here where we will be each day.

There are currently only 4 of our customers out of the 150 sprinkler blowouts we have left that have used the RSS function to know when we post to this blog.  I highly recommend those who haven't, sign up with RSS at least until sprinkler blowouts are complete.  You can do this by clicking on the "Feed Me" banner that rotates at the top right of the blog.  Of course, you can also like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter by waiting for the banner to appear.
