I completed my entire route for yesterday of 23 sprinkler blowouts without issue. Today I am going to shoot for 25. Several of them are bunched together, which is why I organize them the way I do, which will cut down on travel and give me more time to devote to the blowouts. Anyone watching our stats will notice that there will still be around around 20 or so I won't get to on this round, but I can't spend more than 2 days in an area at a time since I have several other areas to get to that haven't been touched yet. As all our long-time customers know, we make several trips around the valley until all are complete.
Monday I will be in the Boise 83716 area for one day, which currently has a few more than I think I can get in a day, but I am going to get as early of a start I possibly can since it is a ways from my home office in Meridian.
I'm sad to say I had to invoice our first $25 non-cancellation fee to someone who was on our route for yesterday but failed to send in the cancellation form as stated in our terms of service. Once the schedule is made, it is not too late to cancel with the cancellation form, but it is too late to not be charged the fee. I could have gotten more blowouts completed yesterday, but I got a late start because I had to take the time to remove the address from my route and then redo the route for efficiency.
I am going to have to "fly" to reach the 25 on my list for today, so please make sure gates are accessible, timer is accessible if your valve boxes are missing in action, or if you know where they are, make sure they are uncovered. If paying by check, please address checks to "The Maintenance Shop." I also take credit cards, cash, boats, ATV's, etc.
