Good news before the bad this time. I took a temperature reading of the ground yesterday and it actually went up. Temperature was 49 degrees 6 inches down, most likely due to the 60 degree temperature we had the day before. This is why I don't freak out about the colder night temperatures, and you shouldn't either……………
Yesterday I was going really well, with a good possibility of actually finishing the 25 sprinkler blowouts I had on my current list of the Nampa 83687 and then disaster struck…… I pulled out on Middleton Road near Cherry Lane and my truck stalled. Fortunately there was a Canyon county sheriff's deputy right behind me when it happened and directed traffic until a large enough tow truch could come to pull my large service truck and a 3,500 pound compressor. Turns out it is the fuel pump, so it will get taken care of today for a whopping $640 or so. It will be fun for the mechanics to drop the gas tank when I had just filled it to it's 33 gallon capacity…….
Anyway, sprinkler blowouts will go on. I am renting a truck this morning from Uhaul for the day and continuing with the Nampa 83687. I have my assistant with me today, so it should go rather quickly (I hope), and we can start on a few in the Meridian 83646. Needless to say, this will throw off my tentative schedule worse than it already is. I hope to redo the schedule in a few days including some of the other areas we have to get to.
I am behind on invoices, but will try to get them caught up over the next few days.
No route today, because we only have a handful left to finish in the 83687 and will have time for only 5 or so in the Meridian 83646, so no sense in routing that out.
