Yesterday didn't go as well as I would have liked. There were 5 on my route that I didn't get to, so I will get back to them today before I move on to the Boise 83713. There are currently only 8 in the 83713, so hope to get to a few in Meridian 83646 if time allows. I am going to throw in Meridian 83646 and 83642 every chance I get when I finish another area and there is time left in the day since that is where the majority of the remaining blowouts are located.
Every year around this time it gets really crazy as I bounce around the valley finishing up the remaining sprinkler blowouts. There is more travel time involved as I go to each area, so it is harder to get as many done in a day as I would when there is more congestion as during the beginning of the season.
Good news is I am ahead of the game from last year. Last year I finished 957 blowouts with the final day being December 10. This year I have already gone past the 957 blowouts, and it isn't even December 1 yet. We generally increase by about 150 or so each year.
As I stated in the email that went out yesterday evening to all remaining customers that I haven't gotten to yet, make sure I have access through gates, valve boxes are visible, etc., because from this point on if I can't do the blowout when I arrive for whatever reason, it will be my last trip to that address. Earlier in the season it no big deal for me to come back on my next pass, but it is extremely difficult this late in the season when jobsites are so far apart.
Here are the routes for today. I will start in the 83642, go to the 83713, and then the 83646. Today will be the last day in the 83713.
