Sprinkler Blowouts For Friday, October 26, 2018

We got through a lot of Kuna yesterday, but found 4 we couldn’t find because they are too new for our GPS, and even too new for Google.  Then there were the two with locked gates……..  Can’t do our job with locked gates.

Jesse will be going back to Kuna to get those we didn’t get to yesterday since we told them we would be working in the area for two days.  I will be heading to Middleton and then Star, and when Jesse gets finished with Kuna he will head to Star as well.  I hope we can find houses we are looking for.  There are four in Middleton and a few in Star that aren’t showing up in our GPS or Google as well.

Whatever we do not finish in Star today will be done tomorrow, and then we will head to Nampa.  Not sure which zip code in Nampa we are going to start with, but will let you know.

Since I sent out an email to Middleton and Star customers letting them know we will be in the area we won’t be using the text alerts.  A blog post works just as well, and actually better since we don’t know if particular cell providers will allow our texts through.

FYI…based on your blog for today (Friday, 10/26), I am writing to let you know that Google Maps shows “Ringle Creek Street” in Star correctly (new street), but if you use MapQuest or others (not sure about your GPS), it will direct you to an older “Ringle Creek Street” located on the West side of Plummer instead of the East side. Please text or call if you get lost.

I’m thinking my house may have been hard to find because google doesn’t quite know where it is for whatever reason. I’m a corner lot with the back yard entrance on the side near the garage. My gate isn’t locked but you do have to reach over and pull up the pipe to move it. I’ll try to leave it cracked this morning.

Found your house without a problem. Just couldn’t get the gate open. Saw the pipe sticking up in the air, but wasn’t sure if that was what I was supposed to pull on. It will be taken care of today by my assistant Jesse.

I think my house was one that was to new to be found on GPS or Google. That’s why I made a point to put down my subdivision name on the request form…Timbermist. If you need directions please let me know. I’m off of linder and hubbard road.

Yep, you are one we couldn’t find. We do request that if you live in a subdivision that you put that on your form because it helps us to organize our routing. However, it doesn’t do much to help us locate your house without driving around a subdivision for several minutes to find you. Best is to give us a location near you in the subdivision that does show in Google or on Garmin GPS. We will make another trip to Kuna to pick up any new requests and any others we couldn’t find previously
