Avimor went well yesterday, however we didn’t make it up there until 1:30 pm because of some loose ends I had to tie up in the morning. Jesse knocked out some start-ups in Kuna yesterday while he was waiting on me. Tested 15 backflows in Avimor yesterday afternoon and got a handful of some sprinkler systems going as well. Only took about 4 hours, but most of the yards are really small and don’t take a lot of work. We will have to go back up in a week or so to repair two backflow preventers that did not pass. We always try to clean them first if they don’t pass, and test again, but two were beyond cleaning.
Today I will be catching up on some Package “A” turnons in the Boise area, and testing some backflows at properties that Jesse has already been to so I can get them off the books. I generally do not work Sunday, except during sprinkler blowouts, but I will be doing a repeat of today, and then the same for Monday after an early morning doctor appointment regarding the shots I am getting in my back. It stinks to get old…..
Jesse didn’t make it all the way through Nampa the other day because of two surprise repairs we were not expecting, so will be putting him in Nampa, Star, and Meridian on Monday. Tuesday he has another main line to dig up, and I will be doing start-ups and backflow tests, and will hopefully have Justin on start-ups. Will find out more about that by tomorrow night.
