Sprinkler Blowouts For Wednesday, November 21, 2018

Now the following little ditty is all in fun, so don’t get your knickers twisted.  Just points out what we have to deal with nearly on a daily basis.  🙂

Turns out I have a lot of faults.  Who knew?  Here are some of them:

  • Customer puts wrong zip code on form and gets missed when we are in their area – my fault
  • Customer puts wrong zip code on form and gets notification that we are going to be there the following day, and then we find the mistake while routing and have to tell them we won’t be there – my fault
  • Customer doesn’t send in cancellation form and gets mad when we show up at their property and invoice them – my fault
  • Customer misspells street name and we can’t find them and they get mad because their blowout isn’t done when we said we would be there – my fault
  • Customer puts first name in last name spot, and last name in first name spot and gets angry when they are billed and their name is wrong – my fault
  • Customer’s phone didn’t receive text notification we sent out – my fault
  • Customer didn’t receive email we sent out – my fault
  • Customer misspells email address and doesn’t get their mail – my fault
  • Customer mistypes phone number and doesn’t receive text notification – my fault
  • Texting sent to wrong number because of mistake mentioned previously and real owner of phone number yells at us – my fault

Well, nobody’s perfect………  Fortunately, most customers who make mistakes on their form are very apologetic, and we work with them the best we can, and a lot of them find their mistakes and let us know so we can make the changes.  I no longer let it bother me like it once did.  I just shake my head and move on……

End of little ditty……

Okay, down to business.  Jesse is BACK!!!!  Missed him the last few days…..

We hope to wrap up our current list of the 83704 today so we can move on to another location the day after Thanksgiving.  Where that will be will be determined later tonight or at the latest on Thanksgiving and ready for the Friday post.  I need to look and see where the highest concentration of customers are who have waited the longest, compared to which area has the lowest contained ratio.  It was easy picking the 83704, because a lot of them are repeat customers that signed up in September and it had the lowest contained percentage.  More on that on my next post.  No map coverage needed today since we plan on getting to every one of them currently in the list for the 83704.
