Sprinkler Blowouts For Sunday, November 25, 2018

I almost made it through my entire route yesterday.  Had 4 I didn’t make it to, and 1 with a gate I couldn’t get undone.  They have been thrown back into the pool for today’s run through the 83713.

Jesse is back, so he will start on one end of the zip code route while I start on the other and we will meet somewhere in the middle.  We have found this to be the most productive way of running when we are both in the same zip code.  We currently have 33 in the zip code to do, which shouldn’t be a problem to complete as long as we don’t run into a lot of system issues.

Providing all goes well today we will have both rigs in in the 83705 on Monday, and then the 83716 on Tuesday.  I am going to make a run to Gardena and Avimor on Tuesday morning, and the on to the 83716.  With 2 rigs in the 83716 I am hoping to get a head start on the 83702 late Tuesday, and then finish them up on Wednesday and on to the 83706.  That is going a little far ahead, and many things can cause that to change, but that will do for now.  We still have the 83714 and Canyon county to get to for the second round, and then  Kuna and Star, and back to Meridian again.  If I didn’t bring up your area or zip code, no need to worry.  We will get to them all several times as needed to get everyone done.  We don’t leave anyone behind.

I will be stopping new requests on December 2 to ensure we are finished by December 6 as I am hoping.  Depending on what comes in and the number of cancellations we receive, I may shut down new requests even sooner.  December 1st new requests for 6 zones or less goes up to $50.  We would get new requests clear into January if I stayed with it, but I am not getting any younger, and every year these get harder to do.  One of these years I will be sending out my techs to do the majority of them while I take care of some of my really long-time customers that aren’t used to change.  When they have had me do their sprinkler blowout for 20 years, it’s hard to accept someone else doing the job.

Hello Steve! My name is Kyle Prewett and I signed up for a sprinkler blowout a few weeks ago. I’ve been reading your blog to stay up to date with where you are in the valley and I saw you were in 83713 yesterday and will also be there today. I live in this zip code but haven’t heard anything in regards to if you would be coming by my place today and there was no map posted to the blog post for today.

You were sent a text yesterday evening, and it does say in the post today “We currently have 33 in the zip code to do, which shouldn’t be a problem to complete as long as we don’t run into a lot of system issues.” You are on Jesse’s route.
