Sprinkler Blowouts For Wednesday, November 6, 2019

Yesterday was not a good day in sprinkler blowout land.  Jesse’s wife, (my daughter) had a doctor appointment that he had to be at yesterday morning, so he was late getting out.  I had the nerve ablation on my spine early afternoon, and Jacob was under the weather yesterday morning.  Jesse headed to Eagle after the appointment, and Jacob helped me in the 83716 after my nerve ablation.  I had no business going out at all yesterday, but I am devoted to my job, so worked through the pain.

Today should be a much better day.  Jesse will finish up Eagle and move on the Boise 83705, Jacob will be working all day in the 83705, and I will be in the 83705 as soon as I finish up 9-10 in the Boise 83716.  There are currently 66 in the zip code to do, so it will take a few days to get them done since we have to finish up Eagle and the 83716 first before heading that way.

Our goal is to have at least 315 finished by Sunday, and it may not happen thanks to yesterday, but we are going to work as hard as we can.  For those tyring to do the math, that is an average of 45 blowouts per day.  If we get at least 45 completed per day, and received no more requests or cancellations we would be totally finished on December 1.  However, that won’t happen since we constantly get new requests and cancellations, so we figure a final date of December 6.  We will stop taking new requests if we feel we won’t be able to finish by that day.  By then we are all tired, and ready for a 3-4 week of no work before we start up again on a ton of other projects.

We have closed several areas already to new requests.  These areas are:

Horseshoe Bend, Gardena, Avimor, Hidden Springs, Fruitland, Parma, Centerville, Idaho City, Sweet, and Melba.  Emmett and Homedale are still open because we only have 1 in each area, and it will make the long trip more worth wile if we can get 1-2 more in the area.  We have already been to Homedale once this season to take care of a senior apartment comunity. I hadn’t been to Homedale since 1997 when I had a band and we played a lounge there for one night.  I don’t remember the name of the place any more, but I do remember hauling heavy P.A. speakers up a flight a stairs to get to it.  Definitely wouldn’t do that now, although I have given it more thought to put another band together……….

We will be in Meridian 83646 on Saturday morning. We won’t be working on Saturday afternoon due to a family event we need to attend. We start hitting Meridian hard on Friday the 15th as long as we get the 2nd round of the smaller areas finished by then. We are a little behind schedule, so trying to catch up. We want to get the other areas finished up so we can concentrate on Meridian and the 83709 which is where half of our remainging blowouts are. That way there are no interruptions.

Hello, I am wondering since Kuna 83634 is not on the calendar any longer, will you be doing my sprinkler blowout? I searched all your resources here before contacting you, I know you all are busy, but was not seeing any info on Kuna. Thank you for your time.

We finished our first round on October 22. We won’t be back until we do our final sweep through the entire valley the first week of December
