As we do every year, today is the day we raise our price for NEW requests to $40 for up to 6 zones and $5 per additional zone in a effort to slow down the new requests. It does work to a degree, but it could be partly because most other blowout companies are finished for the season. We are the only ones to go through the end of the month and into December, and I believe we are the only company that actually works 7 days a week during sprinkler blowout season.
We have completed 1,355 sprinkler blowouts so far. Once we get back in Meridian the number completed will rise quickly because with so many to do, they are so close together, that they go fast. I had 5 yesterday on the same block on the same side of the street……
We were only able to work half the day on Saturday because of a family event, but still managed to get 27 sprinkler blowouts completed in the Meridian 83646 by noon.
I am on my own today so I can give the guys a day off, so I will be working in the 83646 to be close to the home office. It won’t be much longer until we will be spending all our time in the Boise 83709 and all of Meridian. We are planning on alternating days with 3 machines in the 83709 one day, the 83646 the next, and then the 83642 the following day, and then repeating until all are finished. We will then make a trip to the other areas again and also do a final sweep through the valley for several days. The final sweep means ALL remaining “stragglers” will be taken care of on those days until all are complete and we shut down for the season.

No, and yes. Most people aren’t home during the day because they work the same hours we do. 🙂

We don’t drop anything. We go until there are no more. Nobody gets left behind. If you don’t see it then it is likely in our valley sweep where we hit several zip codes in one day to pick up stragglers and last-minute sign-ups
