Sprinkler Blowouts For Wednesday, October 28, 2020

We finished Star and Middleton yesterday and will be working in Caldwell, Nampa 83686, and 83651 today.  We are going to TRY and finish the Nampa 83651 today so that we can start on the Nampa 83687 tomorrow, but there may be some carryover to mix in on Thurday.  I may have to modify our calendar tomorrow once I see how today goes.  Our goal is the finish all of Nampa before we go anywhere else since Canyon county is closed and we can move on to the other areas that have been patiently waiting. I say patiently because those who are not waiting patiently have likely cancelled.

Speaking of cancellations, we have had a lot of them, but I find it interesting that 98 percent of them are new customers that probably didn’t pay attention on how we have done things for the past 20+ years.  I am sad to see them go, but then again it opens up time to get to those who are wating patiently for a sprinkler blowout.

We knocked 87 blowouts out yesterday, which to me is a good day.  There was one person yesterday who actually acused us of not working efficiently or hard enough.  I got a good laugh on that one.  We have done over 1,300 blowouts in the last three and a half weeks…….

So, the moment you’ve all been waiting for……….

Tentatively what time would you get to “green machine ” ? What time do you stop for the Day?

All rigs start between 8-8:30 a.m. and run until their route is done, or it gets too dark to see

I submitted a form requesting a sprinkler blowout in Nampa 83687. That was before I read your blog. I was confused about whether Nampa 83687 was closed to new requests, but as you haven’t been to this area yet and you’ve received cancelations, I thought we’d give it a try. I was able to submit the form so now I’m wondering if I should keep looking for someone else to do it or if you might be able to add us to the list?

Michael, we have closed to new requests over all of Canyon county, however, we are going to be in your zip code tomorrow so decided to let it go through. We don’t do this very often, but since you are fairly close to another one of our requests we can add it. We are on a very tight schedule trying to get 80 blowouts done in a day. A nice review afterward seems to be in order, though….. 🙂

Thanks! I know how busy you are so I really appreciate it. I’ll be more than happy to leave a great review.

Hi Steven, I am one of the new customers who cancelled the request just a moment ago. First of all, I really like your website and the Google form is very straightforward. But after that, I am a little confused. You do have a google calendar showing which zip code areas you will service. But a single zip code covers thousands of houses. If my zip code shows up in different dates, I don’t really know which date I should expect. I wish you could show how many pending requests you currently have in each zip code so that we can have an easier estimation. As a customer, I really want to know when you will stop by. Due to the fast changing requests/cancellations you get, this may be really challenging. But a coarse estimation (such as this week or in two weeks) will help. Anyway, I think the best idea is to schedule earlier next year.

Thanks for the info. We have a stats page on our website that I have made reference to several times showing the number of requests we have, how many have been completed, and how many are left to do sprted by city or zip code. Been using that for years. It is updated in real time as I input new requests and completed blowouts.
