Sprinkler Blowouts For Monday, November 9, 2020 – The Maintenance Shop – Handyman Services

Sprinkler Blowouts For Monday, November 9, 2020

Yesterday didn’t go as planned.  Jesse had truck issues and was only able to finish 1 blowout on his route.  I have assigned him another route for today, but he won’t be able to start until around noon.  Worst case scenario he will be using my service truck to pull “Orange Julius.” Starting at noon he will most likely not make it through his list.  If any of the other guys finish their routes they will start on the bottom of his as per our normal teamwork routine.

The weather got a little nippy yesterday, and we did get a little snow, but as you noticed the snow melted off very quickly which reinforces what I have been saying for years.  The ground is still quite warm so your sprinkler system is not in jeopardy.  We have blown out sprinklers when it was 13 degrees outside, and also when there has been 6″ of snow on the ground.

Today is my wife’s birthday, and I usually take the day off when I am actually in the field, but since I have put myself in the office this season it will be business as usual.

We are 606 sprinkler blowouts completed ahead from this time last year, and only 122 away from our total blowouts from last year.  We seem to grow by 500-1000 blowouts a year, mostly due to referrals from previous customers and keeping our customers year after year, with many already 20 years.

We will have 4 rigs in the Boise 83709 today.  Here are the routes:

Just wanted to be sure N Betula for area code 83646 -Red Feather subdivision will be on your list this week. I noticed your team hit that area code hard on Friday hopefully my home is part of the last 20 or so as mentioned in the blog. I completed the sprinkler blowout request form on 10/26 and received an email confirmation. Thanks.

we have your request. We currently have 37 in the 83646, but that can generally be done in one day with two machines, but will likely only have one there on Thursday, and another on Friday. Changes have to be made to the calendar for this week, so it may change a little, plus the number to be completed changes daily as well.

Just wanted to confirm that Moon Land Ave in 83709 is on your list as well? I’m sure you all are very busy but signed up a couple of weeks ago and just want to make sure we’re on the schedule.

Hi Steven, thanks for keeping us all up to date! Do you know around what time I could probably expect a blowout tomorrow? I want to make sure I’ll be around. I’m at Deangelis st 83714.

Howdy! I won’t know where you will end up on the route until I run it tonight after today’s stuff gets credited. Can’t tell you a time even then because we don’t know how long blowouts are going to take. You can check to see where your street is on the list when we post it
