{"id":1940,"date":"2016-10-23T01:10:05","date_gmt":"2016-10-23T07:10:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.treasurevalleyrepairs.com\/blog\/?p=1940"},"modified":"2016-10-23T07:11:01","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T13:11:01","slug":"rinse-and-repeat-for-sprinkler-blowouts-on-sunday-october-23-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.treasurevalleyrepairs.com\/blog\/rinse-and-repeat-for-sprinkler-blowouts-on-sunday-october-23-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Rinse And Repeat For Sprinkler Blowouts on Sunday, October 23, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tNot a bad day yesterday in sprinkler blowouts.&nbsp; We finished 23 of the 26 in the area we were in yesterday.&nbsp; We might have finished them all within the boundary we were working if we didn&#39;t have to wait for people to unlock their gates AFTER we got there.&nbsp; It happened enough times that the time lost could have been enough to finish at least one more blowout.&nbsp; Every second counts in this business.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tI ran into a perfect example yesterday.&nbsp; I pulled up to my customer&#39;s house at the exact same time another blowout company pulled up behind me to take care of the house next door.&nbsp; Two guys got out and went to work.&nbsp; I was on my own, so I drug the hose through the gate into the backyard and hooked into the sprinkler system, while the rig behind me did the same to the house next door.&nbsp; The properies are the same size, and I had my blowout finished with the hose rolled up before the other two actually finished their blowout.&nbsp; Efficiency is the key&#8230;&#8230;..\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tToday I will be in the 83709 again to grab the ones I missed yesterday, plus another heavily filled area to try and bring the numbers down.&nbsp; Our border streets that we will be working in today are as follows:\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tVctory road and the I-84 on one side, and then Cloverday and Maple Grove on the other.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Tentative Schedule<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tI really don&#39;t like posting a speculation, because I rarely am able to keep it as posted since inevitably something happens at a site or two that slows me down.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tSunday &#8211; Boise &#8211; 83709\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tMonday &#8211; Boise &#8211; 83713\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tTuesday &#8211; (unit 2) Meridian &#8211; 83646 AND (unit 1) Meridian 83642 (areas to be determined)\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tWednesday -(Nampa &#8211; Area to be determined)\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tThursday &#8211; Star and Middleton (more than can be completed in one day)\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tFriday &#8211;&nbsp; Kuna\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tSaturday &#8211; Meridian &#8211; (Area to be determined)\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tThat was for those emailing and asking for some type of schedule, but as I state every year when I put a tentative schedule together it rarely works out, and it ends up agitating some customers when they plan for a day and we aren&#39;t able to make it.&nbsp; This is why, boys and girls, we DO NOT SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS.&nbsp; Just two days ago I had a stop that should have taken no more than 10 minutes, but because of system issues it ended up taking 45 minutes.&nbsp; I can knock out 2-3 sprinkler blowouts in that time frame.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlease leave access through gates BEFORE we get there to avoid a wait time that seems to get worse all the time.&nbsp; Remove debris of valve boxes so they can be found clearly.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs always, if you are paying by check, address your checks to &quot;The Maintenance Shop&quot; and have them ready as well.
