The weather is great, with no sign of winter storms on the horizon like we had the last few years. I remember 10 inches of snow on the ground this time a few years ago. \n\tJust to cover my bases for all those worried their sprinkler system is going to instantly freeze the very SECOND the temperature turns to 32 degrees, I have some pictures of sprinkler blowouts last year in December WITH snow on the ground AND 13 degrees out. I know I say this every year, but it takes a good amount of time for the ground temperature to get cold enough to freeze sprinkler piping. ESPECIALLY if you have poly pipe.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tA customer yesterday sent me on my way after doing her sprinkler blowout with a hot bowl of Rice A Rony and some leftover halloween candy for dessert. She has been a sprinkler blowout customer for at least 8 years, I think. We don't just build customer relationships; we make friends.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tToday is my wife's birthday, and as all my long-time customers know I usually take this day off since my wife rarely sees me during this time of year, and I don't have time to give her the attention she deserves. This year however, I will be working a half-day stopping about 3:30 so I can get prepared for a special engagement that we have planned. That being the case, I am going to work sprinkler blowouts around my own subdivision and some surrounding area until I need to quit for the day. So today I will be in the Meridian 83646. I have about 21 homes on my list, and they are close enough together I hope to be able to do them all within a 6 hour time span, but I really never know what I am going to be up against with a sprinkler system I am not familiar with. I used those funds and bought nine turkeys at Winco ranging between 12-13 lbs. each. I believe there is about $5.00 left. I was really hoping for about 100 turkeys. The drive is on the evening of the 10th that I am participating in, so there is still time today and a little bit of time on Thursday to donate, so please do.
