Blowouts For Friday, November 15, 2019

We will be working in the Boise 83713 again today. If we do not finish through all of them, we will finish up the remainder on Monday as we go to the Boise 83709. We currently have 44 to do in the 83713, which we can usually do in a day with 3 machines running, but I’m not sure if the 3rd will be running or not because Jacob is still sick. I am starting to catch it myself, but unfortunately, I have to keep going until I fall over. 🙂

We are looking into a replacement technician, but one guy we talked to that looked promising was a no-show for an orientation meeting. I think there is some truth to that saying you just can’t get good help nowadays…….. I hope to get two additional machines next year, but then there will be the issue of finding qualified help. Tough to do when there aren’t enough qualified technicians in the valley to keep up with the growth of the area which is why there can be a long wait with an established, professional company. If you find someone to do a blowout that ISN’T backed up, I would worry a little about their skill level since they don’t appear to have a lot of work. Anyone good at their job will be busy. I am especially particular about training. Jesse worked with me for 3 years before I turned him loose on his own. If it gets done by us, it gets done correctly.

I do have to go to Emmett and Homedale in the morning and then will close those areas for the season. There is only one to do in each location, but we don’t leave anyone behind. The only way we will drop ANYONE is if we have made three unsuccessful attempts to connect and do the blowout, there is a problem with their system and it can’t be blown out without being repaired, or they get rude with one of my technicians or myself, or they cancel their service through our cancellation procedure. We won’t leave anyone behind.

UPDATE: Two of us are down from this bug going around. Jesse is the only one who hasn’t caught it yet. The way he is running 60+ hours a week he will either catch it in a big way or outrun it totally which I am hoping for. I am going to try and muster up the strength to clean up the two we have in Emmett and Homedale and see what happens after that. With Jesse the only one working in Boise 83713 today, it will take an extra day to finish it, so I will have to adjust the calendar again to reflect the change. If I am up to it, I will try and knock out 5-6 this afternoon in the 83713 to take some of the weight off of Jesse. If I am down for the day I will spend the time trying to get some qualified help that we can trust.

We will be working in the Boise
