Jacob and Jesse did great in the 83646 yesterday and lessened our blowouts in the zip code by 30.\u00a0 This is good considering Jesse didn’t get started until later in the day because of his appointment.\u00a0 Me, on the other hand, did not have a good day.<\/p>\n
For starters, I woke up to NO VOICE at all from coughing all night.\u00a0 Then I went in for my ablation and they wouldn’t do it because I was coughing my head off.\u00a0 (Makes sense, wouldn’t want the surgeon to go, “oops!” because I moved.\u00a0 Plus being sedated somewhat and coughing not a good combination.\u00a0 To add to that I find out the reason I am miserable is I have a sinus infection.\u00a0 I went 50+ years without ever having one, and now it seems I get them twice a year or more.\u00a0 With that being said, if you see me today and I don’t talk much it is probably because I can’t, or shouldn’t.\u00a0 I need to get my voice back so I can bark orders at my technicians.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
We have to replace 100 feet of hose on Jacob’s machine in the morning, which we will pick up from our favorite local supplier on Overland in Meridian before he can get on the road.\u00a0 Our hoses take a beating every year as they get drug through rocks, rose bushes, fence boards, chewed on by dogs, etc.<\/p>\n
We have moved on to the Meridian 83642 for the next two days of sprinkler blowouts.\u00a0 If all goes well I expect to lessen our 83642 list by 52 by the end of the day.\u00a0 Jacob being able to go out again yesterday was a big help.\u00a0 Again, with the way he has been feeling, it is touch and go every day whether he can go out or not.\u00a0 I have my fingers crossed this will be another good day for him.<\/p>\n
Jesse got quite frustrated yesterday because he blew out a sprinkler system, sent the owner a text that they were done, and was told they had already been done and thanks anyway.\u00a0 Folks, that isn’t the way it works.\u00a0 If you haven’t canceled, and we show up and no one is home and we hook up to do the blowout it will be billed as a blowout as stated in our terms.\u00a0 With this particular instance on Redwick Dr., they were sent an email with an opportunity to cancel, a text with an opportunity to cancel, and still no cancellation.\u00a0 Not to mention the fact that you have to check a box that you understand how to cancel, and also agree to the terms and the part about cancellations.\u00a0 It can’t be made any clearer than that…….<\/p>\n
Anyway, on to the streets on our routes today.<\/p>\n
