Everyone busted their tails yesterday and we knocked out 80 blowouts in one day.\u00a0 That is a new record!\u00a0 This while training a new guy to cover for the end of the week so we can cut down on the overtime.\u00a0 I have known the trainee since he was three years old, which means 23 years, and knew he could pick up on the job pretty quickly.\u00a0 He will spend another day with Jesse and then I will put him out on his own at the end of the week.<\/p>\n
I went with Jacob on his route yesterday in Avimor and Hidden Springs and realized they aren’t as easy as they were last year.\u00a0 Definitely getting old.\u00a0 I am very fortunate I have a crew of hard-working people to take over for me while I run the office and dispatch.<\/p>\n
One of the guys had a tire blowout on his vehicle yesterday and it cost him two hours while he went to a tire shop to get it taken care of.\u00a0 His tire wasn’t in stock, so he is currently riding on his “donut.” The other crew members finished their routes and jumped in on his to get them completed.\u00a0 It was a great showing of teamwork.<\/p>\n
