Even with only three rigs out on Friday, we knocked out 70 blowouts, which is fantastic since on a good day four machines can do 80 or so. One of the guys ran the “Green Machine” out of gas and had to stop earlier than expected, but fortunately “Leroy” could come to the rescue and finish his last two.\u00a0 I warned all the guys that you can’t let diesel run dry or it is extremely difficult to get them running again.\u00a0 So I spent all day Saturday with some help to actually take a bunch of stuff apart to get to the “goods” underneath to bleed the fuel lines.\u00a0 Not my idea of fun since I don’t like messing with anything automotive, but we were in a time crunch.<\/p>\n
Today’s routes are going to be a little weird because the tech that runs “Leroy” has a doctor’s appointment he can’t miss around noon, so will be sending him out afterward unless he knocks a few out close to our office in Meridian 83646 that have been waiting longer than anyone else.<\/p>\n
“Orange Julius” will be all over the place tomorrow to take care of sprinkler blowouts in outer areas so I can shut them down.\u00a0 We charge more for blowouts in the outer areas, but would really like to stay within a 20-mile radius of our office when at all possible.\u00a0 So “Orange Julius” will be running our normal Caldwell route first and then heading to Notus, Parma, Fruitland, Emmett, Marsing, and then Melba to finish out the day Melba.<\/p>\n
