Yesterday didn’t go as planned.\u00a0 Jesse had truck issues and was only able to finish 1 blowout on his route.\u00a0 I have assigned him another route for today, but he won’t be able to start until around noon.\u00a0 Worst case scenario he will be using my service truck to pull “Orange Julius.” Starting at noon he will most likely not make it through his list.\u00a0 If any of the other guys finish their routes they will start on the bottom of his as per our normal teamwork routine.<\/p>\n
The weather got a little nippy yesterday, and we did get a little snow, but as you noticed the snow melted off very quickly which reinforces what I have been saying for years.\u00a0 The ground is still quite warm so your sprinkler system is not in jeopardy.\u00a0 We have blown out sprinklers when it was 13 degrees outside, and also when there has been 6″ of snow on the ground.<\/p>\n
Today is my wife’s birthday, and I usually take the day off when I am actually in the field, but since I have put myself in the office this season it will be business as usual.<\/p>\n
We are 606 sprinkler blowouts completed ahead from this time last year, and only 122 away from our total blowouts from last year.\u00a0 We seem to grow by 500-1000 blowouts a year, mostly due to referrals from previous customers and keeping our customers year after year, with many already 20 years.<\/p>\n
