Yesterday went quite well on start-ups and backflow tests.\u00a0 I had no adverse effects from the booster shot I had yesterday, so Jacob and I split up the 83704 and managed to make 27 stops between the two of us.<\/p>\n
We did have one issue with a customer that didn’t read our terms of service regarding backflow tests, so was surprised when he was asked for payment after the job was complete.\u00a0 If you don’t read the terms we have for service, and just check the boxes, we are not responsible if it isn’t the outcome you were expecting.\u00a0 READ THE TERMS, don’t just click on the boxes.\u00a0 The issue was that his water was not on to his sprinkler system when Jacob arrived to do the test.\u00a0 We have to have water to do the test, so he asked Jacob to turn it on.\u00a0 As our hundreds of sprinkler start-up customers know when they choose a turn-on and backflow test we consider it a “Package C” which is $55.\u00a0 If the water is already on when we arrive we drop $25.\u00a0 It wouldn’t be fair to all our start-up customers if we didn’t treat backflow test only customers to the same pricing.\u00a0 #3 in our backflow terms of service states, “If my water is not on at the time of the backflow test I understand that I will be charged $25 in addition to the cost of the test.”<\/p>\n
Well, enough of that……<\/p>\n
Today Jacob and I are going to team up in the 83702 and 83703 to see if we can save some valuable time.\u00a0 If I don’t think it is time-efficient, we will go back to working independently.\u00a0 We do have a stop to make in the Boise 83716 and also look at some damage to a sprinkler system caused by a tree that fell over in Meridian and see what it will take to fix it.\u00a0 All major repairs will have to wait until we get start-ups caught up.\u00a0 Here is our route for tomorrow in the 83702 and 83703 in the order of service:<\/p>\n
