I had a long conversation yesterday with the owner of a property management company we have working with for 8 years or so.\u00a0 He said all of the vendors he has contacted or is working with are way behind on all their work, and they all need help they cannot find.\u00a0 I thought it was just us having that problem, so it is comforting in a sad sort of way that other companies share the pain.\u00a0 We really need additional help to reach everyone.\u00a0 Some rain this month would have been nice to help keep lawns watered why we make our rounds.\u00a0 At least it is supposed to rain this weekend, so maybe that will help keep the wolves at bay while we work our tails off.<\/p>\n
Speaking of this weekend, my son-in-law Jesse, who abandoned ship with us right before Thanksgiving, and my daughter are having a gender reveal party Saturday, and it is looking like rain.\u00a0 Yes, I am going to be a grandpa again for the 7th time…….<\/p>\n
On to work stuff…… There were five properties that Jacob didn’t make it to in Kuna yesterday that he has to get to today and then will head over to Star.\u00a0 One with a locked gate.\u00a0 Love those……\u00a0 There are more in Star than he can do in a day if he had all day to do it, so any he doesn’t get to will be taken care of Monday.<\/p>\n
I had to drop everything and deal with an emergency, but still managed to get to all of my Package A and C start-ups, but had to scrub three backflow tests in Meridian and move them to today.\u00a0 One of the Package C’s from yesterday needs a repair kit for their backflow, and another will need their main and drain valves dug up and replaced before their water can be turned on.\u00a0 Nothing like digging a 4-foot by 4-foot by 4-foot hole in the ground.\u00a0 64 cubic feet.\u00a0 We have about 6 or 7 of them to do in May, and dang sure better have some help by then.<\/p>\n
