We took care of several start–ups in Meridian 83646 yesterday, and still have several to go.\u00a0 This is the day that I had set aside thinking we would be further along with our start-ups than we were and scheduled some semi-emergency repairs.\u00a0 I thought about moving the repairs to next week, but some of them will require two people and Jacob will be gone a lot of next week with his mom’s side of the family for his grandfather’s funeral.<\/p>\n
We may have a lead for a potential employee or even two.\u00a0 I hope to have more information on that Sunday and will add any news to Monday’s post.\u00a0 We have read countless news reports of companies cutting their hours because they do not have the coverage they need.\u00a0 One story I read was regarding Zamzow’s. I get a reminder almost every other day that we aren’t the only ones hurting for staff.\u00a0 We have also seen a slowdown in cancellations for start-ups services even though it is taking such a long time to get to everyone and I think it is because other repair companies in the repair business whether it be sprinkler systems, remodels, plumbing, etc., are dealing with the same issue and it is taking them a long time to reach all their customers.<\/p>\n
So today, since we have a few minor emergency repairs to do we are going to work a little in each of the zip codes we are going to be in for the repairs and see what we can accomplish.\u00a0 We will be bouncing from Star, Kuna, Boise, and Meridian throughout the day so will work what we can while in those areas.\u00a0 Sorry if this is vague, but with all that is going on we can’t really make a plan that we can share.\u00a0 One thing for sure is we intend to pick and choose start-ups that we know from experience are the easiest to deal with while working in the zip codes for the emergency repairs to get to more places and shrink our list.<\/p>\n
