We made it to Friday!\u00a0 It was an interesting week.\u00a0 From Jesse finding snakes (twice in one day and once the following day. See our Facebook post…..) in valve boxes to systems that looked like Tetris, Illegally installed backflow preventers, people connecting their hose line on the house straight to their sprinkler system since their irrigation was turned off, and more adventures.\u00a0 By the way, hooking a hose from your house water to your sprinkler system is a no-no unless you have a backflow preventer between the water source and the irrigation line. If you get caught you could get a hefty fine or have your water turned off.<\/p>\n
Jesse finished our current list of the Boise 83712 and all the guys finished the 83704.\u00a0 I guess I should say they went to every home on the list but found some that either had locked gates or couldn’t find the valves or main connection. We will work our way through the area again for them and new ones that come in as soon as we make the first appearance in other areas.<\/p>\n
I haven’t heard anything back on our “Green Machine”, so I am going to check in with them later today and find out how much it is going to cost me.\u00a0 I have a dilemma because I want to advertise to get another technician, but I really shouldn’t do that until I know the extent of the damage.\u00a0 Right now we are doing fine with 3 compressors since we were able to start early.\u00a0 We have already completed 867 blowouts which are more than half of our current list.\u00a0 That will change though.\u00a0 I expect another 2,000 blowouts to come through over the next 3o days.\u00a0 It would be really nice to have the 4th machine running to give us another 20-25 blowouts completed per day.<\/p>\n
