<\/p>\nFor the first time in several years, we had a glitch in our text communication system and the wrong people were notified about blowouts for yesterday.\u00a0 Fortunately, the correct group was notified as well.<\/p>\n
Everyone in the 83651 was notified of a sprinkler blowout for Wednesday when actually it was supposed to be for Thursday.\u00a0 The good news is we are back on track for the 83651, but there will also be a technician in the 83686 as well to hopefully finish up our list.<\/p>\n
We sent out a mass email and a mass text to everyone in Canyon county to let them know we were coming out this week and received about 45 cancellations.\u00a0 The cancellations don’t bother us that much because it frees us up to get to our customers that are patiently waiting, but I am wondering why people wait until the last moment possible to send in a cancellation when they can simply do it when they no longer need service.\u00a0 I guess I will never figure that out.<\/p>\n
On top of that, we had SIX non-cancellation invoices we had to bill for just the 83686.\u00a0 TWO different notifications and STILL some didn’t bother canceling.<\/p>\n
Anyway, Nampa and & Caldwell did not go as well as planned yesterday besides the wasted stops we had to make.\u00a0 There are a lot of problem systems in Canyon county, which is why we like to get them out of the way and close down as soon as possible.\u00a0 Otherwise, we won’t be able to get to all those waiting in Ada county. We aren’t quite to the point where we want to cut out Canyon county entirely, but the entire county is only about 15% of our total workload.\u00a0 to put that in perspective, Meridian is 33%.<\/p>\n
