Yesterday went okay business-wise but have I mentioned how much I despise daylight savings time?\u00a0 We like to get 20 blowouts completed per day per machine, but the later in the season it gets the harder this becomes.\u00a0 Many times the guys have been doing blowouts by heavy-duty flashlight.\u00a0 I personally have one that is 12,000 lumens.\u00a0 It will blind you if you look at it directly.<\/p>\n
On a personal level life was not good yesterday.\u00a0 We called “Gentle Goodbyes” to our home to put an end to the suffering of our cat “Smudge.”\u00a0 We rescued him when he was 2 years old around 15 years ago, and he has been a great addition to our family. He wasn’t skittish like a lot of other cats.\u00a0 He welcomed any stranger that came into our home. Jacob and I prepared a resting place for him in our backyard, and I shared my wife’s post on Facebook about our little buddy. It won’t be long before we have to repeat the process with our Border Collie who is nearly 16 years old, blind, and has some tumors on her skin. Sometimes life just sucks……..<\/p>\n
According to our stats, we are nearing 82% complete on all sprinkler blowouts.\u00a0 It’s been a heck of a ride this year getting to everyone and being down one technician in the process.<\/p>\n
