Either from locked gates or damaged systems.

The guys will be running their tales off for the next 2-3 days. During the early part of the season the guys could each do about 20 blowouts or sometimes more in a day. Once the time changed, it would be a battle for each tech to get 16-18 completed in a day. Once it started getting colder we had to battle machine hose condensation that would freeze, or battling systems where customers weren’t following our advice about easily winterizing their backflow preventers, draining their irrigation filters, draining the water from their irrigation pump and putting the plug back, etc. Also, as it gets later in the season the blowouts aren’t as close together so it takes longer drive time to get to each one. We can lose around two hours a day on drive time toward the end of the season. Kelly’s route today will actually mean about 50 miles covered from start to finish.

We aren’t listing zip codes at this point because we will be all over the place. Everyone on a route today was sent a notification test and an email as well. On another note, even with the emails AND texts we still get one or two customers per day that didn’t cancel and were charged a non-cancellation fee.

Here are the routes for today:

Jesse with “Orange Julius”

N Glennfield Way
N Astaire Way
W Silverfalls Ct
N Aronmink Way
N Christian Way
W Puzzle Creek
E Clear Creek
Ne 10th Ave
N Eureka Ave
E Doberman
S Juniper St
Vista Dr

Kelly with “Leroy”

W Viola Dr
N Collister Dr
W Highland View Dr
N 6th St
E State St
S Gekeler Ln
S Ormond St
416 Meadow Dr
S Williamsburg Way
E Black Gold St
E Zaffre Ridge St
S Cloverdale Rd

Challis with “Purple Rain”

N Samson Ave
W Lincroft St
S Hilton
W Hillcrest Dr
S Pacific
S Division
S Priest Ave
W Mayfair Ct
Chester Dr
S Law Ave

The next few days will be sprinkler blowout Hell, to put it mildly. We are now in stage one of the final sweep for the season which is always tough. We have around 38-40 blowouts remaining, and not only are they scattered all over the valley, but three-quarters of them are also listed as “Couldn’t […]

[140

post-4418","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sprinkler-blowouts
"1536x1536":false,"2048x2048":false
The next few days will be sprinkler blowout Hell, to put it mildly. We are now in stage one of the final sweep for the season which is always tough. We have around 38-40 blowouts remaining, and not only are they scattered all over the valley, but three-quarters of them are also listed as “Couldn’t…
["GET
