Yesterday didn’t go as smoothly as we would like, but training time never is smooth. Lots of stuff to teach, and lots of stuff the techs have to learn to do. Not just blowing out sprinklers, but backflow winterization, and our proprietary paperwork that keeps thousands of blowouts organized over the season. Today’s hiccups were all due to trainees, Google played a big part. We use their mapping system, and it usually works really well, but today was NOT one of those days. The route that me and Austin was on was plagued with mistakes on address locations. We had to work our way back to the same subdivision three times because Google couldn’t get it right. Granted, it was a new build, but come on Google!!<\/p>\n
This will be the second day of training for Austin, and the first day of training for his older brother Logan. We will still have only two machines out today as we train, and should have three machines out on Wednesday, and hopefully four machines out on Thursday.<\/p>\n
