We had someone quit yesterday, which left one of our routes incomplete. As a result, we will need to add that route to today’s schedule. This job isn\u2019t as easy as some may think\u2014long hours, repetitive tasks, and occasionally difficult working conditions. It’s a situation that separates the men from the boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day before yesterday, one of the guys didn\u2019t secure his hose, and it unraveled while he was driving. He didn\u2019t realize it was missing until he reached his destination and found it gone from the reel. We often see posts on NextDoor claiming that a sprinkler blowout should only cost $25 because “there\u2019s not much to it.” These comments both anger and amuse me. That missing hose cost $515.28 to replace yesterday. Unfortunately, it is the tech’s responsibility to cover the replacement cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
