Our part-time employee, Michael, worked on Saturday in the 83642 area. Alan and Justin both worked half-day shifts on Saturday\u2014one in Meridian (83642) and the other in Nampa (83687). Alan and Justin wanted a little more overtime, and we always make sure our best techs get as many hours as they want. Who\u2019s afraid of overtime? Jesse racked up 20 hours of overtime just last week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, I\u2019ll need to revise our calendar to accommodate several changes this week. I had scheduled Justin, Todd, Jesse, and Alan for today, but Justin has a family emergency to deal with, and Todd is back in the hospital facing ongoing health challenges. I haven’t been able to reach him yet to check on his condition. Justin will be back on his routes on Tuesday and will make up time on Saturday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the setbacks we\u2019ve faced this season, we\u2019re ahead on completed blowouts compared to where we were at this time last year\u2014and last year, we even started a week earlier. I always find the positive, even in a sea of challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesse will be working what we call the “Outer Limits” today, followed by the rest of his day in Nampa. Since we usually watch his 3-year-old, Gunner, on Mondays, and I have a spine ablation scheduled today\u2014the price I pay for jumping out of planes and all the other things I’ve done to my body over the years\u2014Jesse will have Gunner with him. Did I mention Jesse is expecting a baby girl, with a due date the day before Thanksgiving? We\u2019re excited to add to our growing list of 9 grandchildren! Be sure to give Jesse a high-five if you see him, and he’s gladly accepting donations of baby items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are still in search of two full-time techs to work until the day before Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
