Todd had to step away for medical reasons, so we’re down to three technicians now. Last year, we managed with the same number of techs, but we only had three machines then\u2014now we have six. We need to find more people we can train to do the job. Teaching blowouts isn\u2019t hard, but we have a specific method for tracking our work to handle the nearly 5,000 requests we receive each season and ensure we don’t miss anyone. That process needs to be taught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our newest technician, Justin, has been a long-time customer, and now he’s officially joined our team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brian, who worked with us last season handling backflow tests and repairs throughout the summer, might return this week to finish the season. This is great news, as he’s already familiar with the job and our data system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve started closing down our first areas for the season, including all locations outside Ada and Canyon Counties. Canyon County will be next, but don\u2019t worry\u2014that won\u2019t happen yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the staff shortage, adjusting locations will likely disrupt our schedule, so we label it tentative. I\u2019ll try to update the calendar later today, as long as I’m not overwhelmed by questions by text that have already been answered in our terms of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
