WARNING! I NEED TO RANT. I get completely bombarded with texts daily, sometimes up to 45 in an hour. A few messages ask legitimate questions, like, “I submitted a form but didn’t get a confirmation email; did you receive it?” or, “I won’t be home, here is my garage code,” and “I put a check under the front mat.” However, over 90 percent of the texts I receive each day are questions that would be answered if the senders had read the terms of service they agreed to when they checked the box and signed up. One of our long-time customers, who is also an attorney (Blackburn Law in Meridian), summed it up perfectly in a review, saying, “The terms of service are simple and easy to understand, and based on some other reviews, it is clear that not everyone actually reads the terms, an important part of any contract for service.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I work on an FAQ whenever I have a few free moments, which is rare. However, it\u2019s frustrating because most of the questions have already been answered in our terms of service. That\u2019s exactly why the terms are there: to free me up for the countless other tasks I must tackle each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone who follows our daily posts is already familiar with this, or you wouldn\u2019t even know this forum exists. Still, I often get questions when I tell people to check our daily posts and calendar for updates, like, “Do the daily posts come to my email?” or “How do I see your daily posts?” Some even miss their notification text: “I didn’t know you were going to text me; I was waiting on a call for an appointment.” This is a recurring issue each year, and I still haven\u2019t found an effective way to address it. I made it a requirement for boxes to be checked, hoping it would prompt people to pay attention to what they agree to, but it hasn\u2019t fully solved the issue. If anyone has suggestions, please comment on this post\u2014I\u2019d love to hear your thoughts. DONE WITH RANT. (I feel a LOT better now)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fan belt broke on Cyclone yesterday while in Middleton, slowing Jesse down enough that four on his Star route were not completed. He will finish those up this morning and then get to his regularly scheduled route. Other than that, Brian and Justin completed their assigned routes. Brian will be getting a late start tomorrow, but he can work later in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If all goes well, our newest elite member will run his own rig on Thursday. That will greatly help, but we still need two more technicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
