Nothing too exciting to report from Sprinkler Blowout Land<\/em> yesterday. I spent a few hours tinkering with Cyclone<\/em> and managed to rule out a bunch of things that aren\u2019t<\/em> the problem\u2014still haven\u2019t quite nailed down what is<\/em>. We\u2019re narrowing it down, though, one eliminated part at a time. At this rate, Cyclone<\/em> and I might both need a tune-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For those who didn\u2019t know, Jesse left us for another job after 11 years of service. You know what they say \u2014 the grass is always greener\u2026 until it needs mowing. He got his hours in for the week at his new job and wanted something to do \u2014 and let\u2019s be honest, a little \u201cmo\u201d money never hurts. So, he asked if he could run a route for us today. Since we\u2019re still shorthanded, I jumped at the chance. One more route rolling means one step closer to catching up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesse usually runs Cyclone<\/em>, but since she\u2019s still down, he\u2019ll be taking Purple Rain<\/em> out today. She ain\u2019t exactly purty, but she runs like a champ \u2014 kind of like that old truck you\u2019d never take on a date but wouldn\u2019t trade for anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Joe\u2019s back with us today and will be running a rig again tomorrow. Even though he was only gone for a day, it\u2019s good to have him back \u2014 he really has his act together, and things just run smoother when he\u2019s around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I haven\u2019t had much time to get the calendar updated with all the staffing upheaval lately, but I\u2019ll be working on it this weekend. Just keep in mind \u2014 that schedule is tentative<\/em> at best. Something always seems to come along and throw a wrench in my planning\u2026 locked gates, problem systems, you name it.
