Yesterday didn\u2019t go quite as planned \u2014 but as I mentioned the day before, it rarely does. Honestly, if we ever had a day go exactly<\/em> according to plan, I\u2019d probably throw a party, take a picture to prove it happened, and then keel over from the shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apparently, James ran into some trouble with the fuel pump in his truck. He makes the drive up from Mountain Home every day, so that\u2019s no small hiccup. He\u2019s got a new pump on order, but for now, we\u2019re not sure how long he\u2019ll be out of commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe will be running the route today that was supposed to go to James yesterday, and Ben will be back in action too. We don\u2019t always work on Saturdays, but when we do\u2026 it\u2019s because our techs love their job so much they just can\u2019t bear to take a day off. Or maybe it\u2019s the money. Yeah, probably the money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesse was back for the day, and now we remember exactly why we miss him. The guy\u2019s a technician on steroids. Even with two hours of downtime from three different situations, he still managed to finish his entire route. And to top it off, he had his four-year-old \u201cfuture CEO of The Maintenance Shop\u201d riding shotgun, supervising the whole operation. Pretty sure the kid\u2019s already drafting policies and checking payroll. One of our customers took a picture of Gunner hard at work, while another captured him taking a break in his grandpa’s (My) service rig with his dad grinning for the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
