If your cell service provider is T-Mobile, the first part of this blog post is for you. It seems that (and it happens about this time every year) T-Mobile has once again decided it doesn\u2019t like us. Apparently, sending bulk texts every night to our customers is frowned upon, and T-Mobile has put us in time-out. It usually sorts itself out in a few weeks, but in the meantime, anyone with T-Mobile won\u2019t be getting our text notifications the night before their blowout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you are<\/em> a T-Mobile customer, feel free to give them a friendly nudge and let them know we\u2019re not running a scam operation\u2014just trying to make sure your sprinklers don\u2019t freeze solid. We\u2019re out here working, not spamming, so maybe they can take us off their naughty list early this year. \ud83c\udf85\ud83d\udcf1<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019ve tossed around the idea of sending email notifications instead, but we run into the same circus with Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail. They\u2019re about as reliable as a screen door on a submarine. I\u2019ve said this before, but we\u2019ve had Yahoo customers email us\u2014and when I reply, I get a message back saying the address doesn\u2019t exist. So apparently, Yahoo can ghost people better than our no-show applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I honestly don\u2019t know what the answer is, unless everyone reads our daily post, which is what I suggest anyway, and looks for their street on the route.
