Eddie decided he wanted to put in a part-time day today, so we\u2019re giving him 10 stops right in his own ZIP code. Normally, we hand out 20-plus stops a day, but after knocking out an impressive 24<\/strong> in Kuna yesterday, I\u2019d say he\u2019s earned the lighter load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My nephew Challis has today off from his other job, so he\u2019s jumping in to run the route Joe didn\u2019t get to yesterday. We were originally going to put that route off until Monday, but Challis came to the rescue. Some of you longtimers might remember him from 2023 \u2014 and his brother Reese helped us out last year, so it\u2019s kind of a family tradition at this point. We still miss our other family member, Jesse. He had a big impact in Sprinkler Blowout Land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challis will be driving my service truck and pulling Orange Julius (OJ)<\/strong>, who\u2019s back in service and ready to rumble after a short break. Between the two of them, I\u2019m confident those sprinklers won\u2019t know what hit \u2019em.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that OJ<\/strong> is back in service, we\u2019ve got the chore of finding a permanent tech to handle this 210 CFM orange beast. It\u2019s our next biggest compressor after Cyclone<\/strong>, which clocks in at a thunderous 250 CFM. OJ\u2019s got a personality all its own\u2014half Amazon driver, half postal worker\u2014rain, snow, or sleet, it blows.<\/em> Loud, proud, and ready to make sprinkler systems everywhere question their life choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had someone ask yesterday why we don\u2019t include house numbers on our route posts or sprinkler calendar. Fair question \u2014 and here\u2019s the deal: we keep those numbers off for security reasons<\/strong>. It\u2019s not about hiding anything; it\u2019s about protecting our customers and our business. Believe it or not, there are companies out there that will try to race to our stops, impersonate us, or use our routes to hunt down potential leads. We\u2019ve worked too hard (and blown too many sprinklers) to hand over our playbook that easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, no, we\u2019re not being mysterious \u2014 just careful. Think of it like a classified mission: we\u2019ll tell you where the operation roughly<\/em> is, but we\u2019re not dropping GPS coordinates. Besides, if someone wants to steal our work ethic too, I hope they stretch first \u2014 it\u2019s a lot of heavy lifting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
