\ud83d\udd70\ufe0f The Time Change Strikes Again<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As of early this morning, the clocks \u201cfell back\u201d an hour, and while most people enjoy that extra hour of sleep, those of us in Sprinkler Blowout Land<\/strong> don\u2019t exactly celebrate. The fall time change is like losing an hour of daylight every evening \u2014 and for us, that means fewer blowouts can get done in a day. Once it starts getting dark around 5:30, there\u2019s only so much you can do with a flashlight and a stubborn valve box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, this shift sneaks up on us like a prankster jumping out of a pile of leaves. We go from racing the sunset to practically begging it to stay up just a little longer. Sure, it\u2019s cozy when you\u2019re at home sipping a warm beverage, but when you\u2019re in the field trying to finish one last blowout before darkness swallows the yard \u2014 it\u2019s a whole different story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also the fun challenge of everyone\u2019s internal clock being off for a few days. Some customers forget about the change entirely and think we\u2019re running late, when in reality, it\u2019s the sun that clocked out early. The techs are out there adjusting schedules, pacing themselves differently, and working extra hard to keep the routes on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So while we love fall \u2014 the cooler weather, the pumpkin spice, and the Halloween candy leftovers \u2014 the time change<\/strong> is one tradition we could probably do without. It\u2019s kind of like Mother Nature\u2019s way of saying, \u201cYou thought you were efficient? Let\u2019s see how you handle an hour less daylight!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this rate, we might have to invest in night-vision goggles<\/strong> just to keep up \u2014 though I\u2019m not sure our customers are ready to see glowing green eyes creeping through their yards at dusk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
