I find it fascinating \u2014 in the last 30 days, this blog has had 20,675 visitors<\/strong>, yet every day I get texts from customers who clearly have no idea it even exists. You\u2019d think with that many readers, word would\u2019ve gotten around by now \u2014 or at least they would\u2019ve read the terms and their confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Granted, a lot of that traffic comes from repeat visitors who keep up with life here in Sprinkler Blowout Land<\/em> even after their work is done. But we\u2019re getting new readers every day, too, which means this little corner of the internet is still alive and well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe someday everyone will know where to find updates, schedule info, and a bit of our daily chaos \u2014 but until then, I\u2019ll keep writing, shaking my head, and answering the same texts I already wrote entire posts about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I forgot to mention that about a week ago, I created a static page<\/strong> on this blog that will always be available. It\u2019s titled \u201cUnderstanding Freezing Temperatures and Sprinkler Systems,\u201d<\/strong> and it explains cold weather and sprinkler systems in plain English. You don\u2019t need a doctorate in physics to understand it (though if you have one, you\u2019ll still enjoy the pictures).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challis won\u2019t be with us the rest of this week \u2014 apparently, his other job<\/em> called dibs. We\u2019ve known all along he was technically \u201con loan,\u201d but that doesn\u2019t mean we have to like sharing. He\u2019ll be back Monday, and we\u2019ll be glad to have him \u2014 mainly because things just run smoother when the band\u2019s back together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
