The calendar reflects our current plans, but it may change<\/strong>. Just because we have an area scheduled for a particular day doesn’t mean nothing will come up that requires us to adjust those plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We’re continuing to work through the requests we’ve received, and our goal remains to take care of everyone as efficiently as possible before the colder weather arrives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the last few weeks, Jesse has been driving his personal vehicle while we had the hitch receiver replaced on my service truck, which he normally drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, Jesse is a pretty adaptable guy. Give him a compressor, a hose, and a list of addresses, and he’ll figure out the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But after a few weeks of using his own vehicle, I imagine the reunion with the company truck will be quite emotional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There may be tears. There may be hugging. I wouldn’t rule out a candlelight dinner in the driveway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’ve instructed Jesse that if he decides to hug the truck, he needs to do it before clocking in<\/strong>. I’m not paying overtime for a romantic reunion with a pickup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And if I catch him buying flowers for it, we’re going to have a serious discussion about appropriate workplace relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The good news is that the hitch receiver has been replaced, Jesse is back in his usual truck, and his personal vehicle can finally enjoy a well-deserved vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As for the truck, it had better behave itself. We’re in the middle of sprinkler blowout season, and I don’t have time for another mechanical midlife crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our sprinkler blowout calendar is a planning tool, not a guaranteed appointment schedule.
