Another cold, rotten day in sprinkler blowouts land. We still didn't finish all of Nampa because of system issues we came across, so will swing around to them again next week. As stated yesterday, we are no longer taking new requests, so the list will get smaller instead of growing like it has been doing.
We will be doing sprinkler blowouts in Middleton and Star today, and if we finish them and have time left, we will swing back through Nampa and try to pick up some of what we missed to round out the day.
Unbelievably, we are still getting new requests for sprinkler blowouts even though it states right above the form in big red letters we have closed. We only received 9, which means most are seeing it or we would be flooded with 50 or more.
We are usually on the road at 8:00 a.m., but with the cold weather we are waiting until 9:00 to see if it warms up enough to not run into frozen filters on irrigation systems. We had a few today where we had to thaw the above ground filter on the irrigation system before we could blow them out.
