Sprinkler Blowouts For Monday, October 22, 2018

Yesterday was the first day we had to charge a non-cancellation trip charge.  Of course the person blamed us, said we were scammers, and called me about every name in the book in text conversation.  Also threatened to ruin us in social media if he was billed.  Made it clear to him that threats don’t bother us, and that it would be in his best interest to pay the invoice or get a lien on his property as also stated in our terms and agreed to.  He paid the invoice.  It’s really simple, folks.  You no longer need our services, that is pefectly fine.  We will get plenty more to take your place very quickly.  Send in the cancellation and you will automatically be removed.  Don’t, and you will be charged, and we will collect……….  We have yet in all these years had to file a lien, but I am sure one day it will come……..

We had two or three really bad system issues to contend with yesterday, but still managed to get 46 blowouts completed.  There was one on Waltman I couldn’t do because I couldn’t find the main valve to shut it off.  The entire yard was covered with leaves, which makes it impossible to find anything.  That is why I put in the terms of service to make sure valve boxes are uncovered.  Now that person will have to wait until our next pass through the area.

We are going to continue in the Meridian 83642 zip code today.  As of this writing there are still 70 sprinkler blowouts left to do in the area, but we will probably at the most get half of them completed today.  A lot depends on whether we run into issues or not.  Whichever ones are not completed will be taken care of on our next pass.  Good news is that it is still quite warm during the day which keeps the ground warm, which in turn protects your sprinkler system.

Today Justin will be working the area between Black Cat and Locust Grove, and between the Interstate and Victory Rd

I on the other hand, will be a little more scattered.  I’ll be working the area between Locust Grove and Cloverdale, and Fairview and the Interstate.  I will also be in between Linder Road and Meridian Road, and Victory Road and Amity.

All those in the coverage area will receive a text early this morning if they chose to receive them.

Will I get a text before you head my way so I can make sure I’m ready?

Any idea when you will be in 83716?

We were in the 83716 on October 10, 11, and 12th for our first round, so we have to make it through areas that haven’t been done yet before we go for our second round. That puts us in the 83716 sometime around the 5th of November depending on how things go before then.

Hi there, just checking in about 83704. I caught the post in which you mentioned you’d need to return. I was just curious about the timeline for that. Thank you!
