Sprinkler Blowouts For Saturday, October 26, 2019

I have seen golf balls, rocks, dirt, and even a dead squirrel inside the valve shut-off tubes, but yesterday I actually found a LG cell phone in side the tube for the sprinkler main.  I fished it out and put it on the charger and see If can figure out who it belongs to……..

We should have a total of 900 completed sprinkler blowouts by the end of the day today.  We have been working as fast as we can and still maintain our quality standards.

Today will be a very interesting day.  Jesse will be doing a few blowouts in Marsing and then over to the Nampa 83651 for the remainder of the day.  Jacob and I will also be in the Nampa 83651 so we can clear out that zip code in one day.  Once we get all three Nampa zip codes covered we would have made a first pass to every zip code on our list.

Our calendar is currently a shambles right now with nothing on it actually accurate at this point.  We need to put emphasis on the Boise 83709 and both Meridian zip codes in our calendar, so will probably run 2 rigs to each area rotating each day and have the 3rd rig work on smaller areas until all are caught up.  If you look at the calendar right now you won’t see anything past today.  I will be working on it this evening.

No route today since we plan on taking care of the entire list in the 83651.

As a satisfied multi-year return customer (who has never had pipes freeze, but still stresses out every year) as I read the blog and all the other places you’ve been to…..
I have to ask: –by saying ‘a first pass to every zip code’ you mean, except 83714?

    1. Reply

Nope, first pass means through all zip codes. We have already been to Hidden Springs, Avimor, and did over 35 in Garden City on our first pass. We will be back to Garden City, Avimor, and Hidden Springs soon to work on the remaining requests.

How do you know if your system is dual or pressurized?

    1. Reply

A dual system is one that has a domestic water connection and a pressurized irrigation connection. If you have a dual connection, there should be an RP backflow preventer on the property above ground. If you are in Meridian, dual systems were outlawed over 10 years ago

Have you completed 83642 in Meridian? We’ve been gone but did not see a billing for our property and looking over the roads covered did not see our road – so not sure. Our home is in the Merrywood Develpment off Pine between Linder and 10 Mile.

    Thanks

We haven’t completed the Meridian 83642 yet. There are still 158 to do in the Meridian 83642. We will be hitting all of Meridian hard this week and next. However, I do not see a request in our database with your name on it, or the email you used here.
