Saturday was an absolute disaster for sprinkler blowouts. Several systems were in serious need of repair and were difficult to blow out, which put us several short of the sprinkler blowouts we wanted to get finished by the end of the day. We will get back to them later in the week. The ones we need to invoice for the 83642 will be sent out Sunday night. I was just too tired to get them done on Saturday night.
The temperatures are dropping next week, but keep in mind that the outside temperature, and the ground temperature are two different things. It will take quite awhile for it to get cold enough to freeze and damage an underground sprinkler system. I won't get my own sprinkler blowout completed until Thanksgiving, or a few days after. I make sure all others are completed first, and I am not the least bit concerned my system will freeze. Today is my wife's birthday, so we are going to get the current list of 12 sprinkler blowouts finished in the Boise 83706 area and call it a day so I can spend the remainder with her, and prepare for her birthday party. With more than 650 sprinkler blowouts so far this year, and several hundred from previous years, my wife gets short-changed for her birthday because of our busy schedule.
