Sunday I finished 21 of the 22 sprinkler blowouts we had on our list in the 83706. One I didn't do is on Fall Drive because I could not find all the valve boxes to cover the number of zones listed on their form. As usually happens, we received four more sprinkler blowouts in the 83706 while we were out today, which unfortunately will have to wait now until our next pass through the area. Three of the four are repeat customers from last year, so not sure why it took so long for them to submit a form for this year. I sent the first email reminder out at the end of August, and the 2nd reminder around mid September to help avoid these situations…….
I will be starting sprinkler blowouts in the Meridian 83646 zip code today, and hoping that Tuesday our other rig will also be working the 83646. Where I will be on Tuesday I am not sure yet. We rarely know much before our customers do where we will be next. It is a hard decision at times on where to go each day. Both zip codes in Meridian actually make up about 30% of our current list as of this writing.
Below is the route I hope to follow today, which should go farely smoothly because many of them are repeat customers. I am still able to remember the locations of all valves for EVERY home I visit that I have previously visited even a year ago or more. I get more tired each day, so let's see how long that holds up…..
It is pouring rain outside my office window in Meridian here at 2:00 a.m. I sure hope it let's up by morning. I get wet enough as it is, and I seem to have misplaced my rain jacket………
