Sprinkler start-ups will resume Tuesday through Friday to hopefully make a big dent in our current list. We have had some setbacks due to serious water issues that couldn’t be put on hold, and actually have 6-7 more of the same pending. We plan our routes based on the package chosen during sign-up, and it really throws us off if when we arrive the customer decides on upgrade package. Those choosing a turn-on only for example, that change to a full property “exam” so to speak, or adding a backflow test at the last minute, etc.
On Tuesday Justin will be joining us for the first time this season on sprinkler start-ups, While Jesse works in the morning replacing a PVB in downtown Boise, and then will be working on sprinkler start-ups in the afternoon. I will be working on Package “A” and Package “C” start-ups Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Jesse will be working on start-ups Wednesday through Friday, and at this point Justin will be working again on Thursday. Wednesday I have a pre-scheduled all-day visit at an apartment community installing carbon monoxide combo smoke detectors in 40 units.
I will post later tonight which areas will be serviced for start-ups for tomorrow.
As stated earlier, we have several major repairs to do. Everything from digging up sprinkler mains, replacing backflow preventers, repairing backflow preventers that didn’t pass their test,
Today I will lose a little time because I have an appointment to get another series of shots in my back to ease the pain issues I have faced for several years, but will be getting some repairs done before and after the shot.
