820 sprinkler blowouts completed for this season, which is up nearly 100 hundered from last year. I am sad to report though that we had nearly 250 cancellations. I have been putting it off for a few years now, but it looks like I will have to invest in another machine, and find someone that meets my high standards for quality work to take over some of the load next year.
I appreciate all of our repeat customers; some we have had for 14-15 years. We hope that our new customers this year will stick with us that long as well. Most of the customers we have lost over time were due to passing away, or moving away. We have become friends with many of our customers, and it is quite sad when one passes away. In the last three years alone we have lost seven customers to death; and most unexpected.
We will be tending to the many repairs we have put on hold due to sprinkler blowouts once I get a few days rest in. Everything from replacing roof vents, cleaning gutters, replacing hosebibs, rekeying locks, and miscellaneous repairs.
In the past we haven't posted that much in this blog except during sprinkler blowout season. We have been using it as the main form of communication with our customers during this busy season. I hope to change that this upcoming year with more posts that may be beneficial to our customers.
As for sprinkler blowouts, see you next year!
