We finished the remainder of our current list for the Boise 83709 zip code yesterday, but later found a new one had come in during the day. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get to that one until we have finished making our rounds for the remainder of the valley. I have several invoices to email, and will start on them early this morning. Was just to darn tired to do it last night.
For those who might be interested in my routine, I start any paperwork I didn't finish from the night before about 7:30 a.m., leave for sprinkler blowouts between 8:30-9:00 a.m., work until dark, go home to eat dinner and start more paperwork such as invoicing, contacting customers about late payments, reviewing possible liens for late payers, etc. I remove any cancellations, download new sprinkler blowout requests, put addresses into mapping software and then send to my GPS. Then I figure up route for the following day, send out text alerts, post to blog, update the sprinkler blowout stats, and then finally call it a night around 2:00 a.m. Rinse and repeat until all sprinkler blowouts are complete. Then I blow out my own sprinklers. 🙂 Oh, and if I have time, I squeeze a bathroom break in there somewhere. 🙂
The weather is going to be miserable today for sprinkler blowout technicians everywhere in the valley, but fortunately it will pass in a few days. For those who wake up with snow on the ground remember what I always say: "Snow is a good insulator. Ask an Eskimo." The only problem I have with snow is that it covers up valve boxes and makes them difficult to find. That being the case, any time I can get timer access I welcome it.
We are starting in the Boise 83713 zip code today. The map image below shows all the area I hope to hit for the day. Two streets that are hidden behind some others that we will be getting to is Buttercup Court and Sparkford Way.
This is a new tentative schedule of our route for the next little while. Keep in mind this is only tentative. As those can see who are following this blog, this schedule is modified some from the previous one. It's really difficult to plan very far ahead when we don't know how long some blowouts are going to take, and what system issues we may come across. I hate trying to put a schedule together this far ahead, but inevitably it doesn't hold. Click the image to enlarge.

I signed up for blowouts on Nov. 2nd in the 83709 area but my sprinklers weren't done yesterday. Not sure why not.
You put 83705 on your form as zip code, which is why you were missedÂ
