Finishing Up The Nampa 83686 And Moving On To The Nampa 83687 Today

For all you worry-warts out there, I will let you know that I took a ground temperature reading while in Nampa yesterday morning quite early and received a reading of 44 degrees 6.5" deep.  Obviously not freezing temperatures no matter what the temperature is above ground.  That is only down 1 degree from last week when I checked in Meridian in my own yard when it was 27 degrees outside.  I do recommend however, that those with filters above ground empty them, and those on city water take the steps I have outlined in my post about protecting your system while waiting for a sprinkler blowout.  That link is also in the terms of service if you are trying to find it.  I expect the ground temperature to stay above freezing for another month and likely longer.  That 60 degree temperature hike during the day yesterday will help keep the ground warm as well.

I hustled the best I could yesterday, but due to system issues, or not being able to find valve boxes quickly because they were covered up, (doesn't it say something in the terms of service about making sure valve boxes are visible, etc.?) so I will finish those up and then move on to the 83687.  The scheduled date for the area is the 14th and 15th, but if I don't quite finish them up during that time I will have help on the 16th to finish them up and to Meridian.  Once I finish the 83687 I will have finally made it through the first round of the Treasure Valley.  Once I get caught up in Meridian and the Boise 83709 where the majority of our remaining blowouts are, I will be able to tackle the other areas quickly.

There will most likely be a schedule change next week to reflect the other areas of the valley that are in line for a second run, because some customers are apparently getting confused that their zip code isn't listed on my schedule.  I only plan a little ways ahead usually because something always happens to mess up the schedule no matter how hard I try to keep it straight.

Below is my route for today.  I may not make it to the higher numbers on the route, but if not, I will get to them tomorrow when I add them in with the remaining 83687 sprinkler blowouts.
