We had a GREAT week, and giving the crew a rest for the weekend. I will probably go out today and do some in the Meridian 83646 that are close to me. The reason I hired someone to run my machine was so I could get more done in the office, but also because my doctor wants me to slow down. I am pushing 60, but it isn’t the age, it’s the miles. I have done nearly 25,000 sprinkler blowouts by myself over the years. Most likely more than anyone else has ever done.
Jesse will be training another guy on Monday if all goes well to help on Friday’s and Saturday’s, so we won’t have to pay out so much in overtime. Most of the crew were on overtime by the time they quit on Thursday, and they all put in a full day on Friday. That’s $30 each per hour for overtime, but it needs to be done. I wouldn’t mind having a few others that can work Friday’s and Saturday’s as well.
I will be working on our calendar over the weekend. As expected, there are changes that have to be made due to all the new requests we have received. We will be spending a lot of time in Meridian and the 83709 next week, but will also squeeze in some of the other areas we haven’t been to yet on our first round. We have received several new requests in zip codes we have already visited for the first round, so they will be taken care of on our next pass. We need to make sure we make an appearance in all zip codes before we swing around again.
I likely will not post anything for Sunday unless something comes up I need to bring attention to, but will post at midnight as per usual for Monday’s business. Have a GREAT weekend!
