Today starts our 7th week in Sprinkler Blowout Land. Based on what we can do in a day, and what we have left, we should finish the entire valley of our current requests within 12 business days! If the weather keeps up as it has been, we may open up some closed areas once we finish our current list.
I did a thing on Friday… A very expensive thing… A $13K thing… I bought another air compressor! We will need to outfit it with a reel and hose, and some electronics which will cost another $1.5K, so it won’t be ready for this season, but it will speed up next year as long as we get the help we need. I am trying to work up to 10 total compressors over the next 5 years, but that depends on funds. This one I bought would have been about $3,000 less just two years ago. I will likely send out another mass email sometime later today geared to those who don’t know about these daily posts or how we do things around here since they didn’t bother reading our terms of service when they signed up. It will go to everyone who is still waiting for a sprinkler blowout that is on our list.
Those still waiting, especially those in the 83709 and Meridian, hang in there. We are clearing out as much of the other areas as possible so we can concentrate the rest of the season in our two biggest markets. We aren’t going to do ALL the other areas first. We will work Meridian and the 83709 in the mix. It will go a lot faster now that we have our 4th machine running again.
We will have all machines in the 83704 today which should clear out all but about a dozen in the zip code which we can finish on Tuesday with one machine while we put the other three in other areas.
